Halfway there. Sort of.

One nightstand assembly, trim paint, and the purchase and installation of new carpet from reborn. I'm liking it so far.

The bedroom is looking very pretty. Congrats on sticking with the nightstand assembly even tho you contruction skills had to be "rebooted".

What a wonderful color to fall asleep by! And I like the new blog color too -- it seems to suit you.

How very peaceful. If the bedroom had looked like that when you came home from the hospital, you might have been tempted to become a delicate Victorian sort of invalid.

Wow, Catherine that looks great! So serene and pretty without being girly or too individualized so you have to re-do it to sell the house. Maybe you can get a job staging houses for sale? Or just decorating? Really, nice job....

I'd love to stage houses for sale, it's like decorating without the commitment! Thanks for the compliment, that is exactly the effect I was trying for - a serene, simple room that would appeal to both genders, but also be something I can enjoy now.

I wonder if it's too late to go the delicate Victorian invalid route? Must win lottery.

Oh Catherine, your room is just so serene and inviting. If you wanted "serene", peaceful and a place to unwind, you created it. Very nice. Chelle
